Marissa is a registered dietitian passionate about approaching women's health, whole-body wellness, and sustainable behavioral change from a holistic standpoint.
After her personal experience as an athlete and work with professional, Olympic, and major league female athletes, Marissa became very aware of the discrepancy between standard care in many healthcare settings and the many intricacies of female physiology and health.
She is passionate about helping women take control of their health using holistic nutrition to support hormone balance, work through difficult behaviors, and better understand their bodies by identifying unique needs and goals.
As a mom herself, Marissa is especially passionate about fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum or breastfeeding nutrition, as well as navigating the unique challenges that come with feeding an entire family.
She loves raising adventurous eaters, even when children do not always share our food preferences, and believes these life stages are unique opportunities where nourishment has far-reaching impact.
Marissa prioritizes changes and goals that are realistic and sustainable for your life. Every body has unique needs, and every individual lives a different life that requires a personalized approach.
She wants you to feel as confident as possible in your food choices and lifestyle modifications, and she empathizes deeply with each client's lived experience.
Outside of work, Marissa spends much of her time outdoors or in her kitchen. She is active in local agriculture, continues learning about food sourcing and farming, and loves teaching her sons how to cook while making food and memories together.
